Noah ES setup moves your clinic's audiogram data from your previous practice management system to Suno's cloud-based Noah ES integration. Read this article before doing anything — it covers what to prepare, what will happen, and where to find your specific setup guide.
Before you start
Confirm your cutover date
Do not begin setup until your scheduled cutover — typically the Friday before Go Live. Starting early will break your current system's connection to Noah before your team is ready.
Important: After completing setup on a computer, do not open that computer in your previous system again before Go Live. Only perform these steps on computers that will be used with Suno.
Note your installed manufacturer modules
Open Noah and write down every manufacturer module currently installed (for example, Oticon, Phonak, ReSound). You may need to reinstall these after setup. Download links are available at HIMSA – Noah modules.
Confirm device readiness on each computer
Admin access is available
Internet connection is stable
Device will stay on — disable sleep mode for the duration of setup
What this process does
On each computer you complete setup on, this process will:
Disconnect your previous system from Noah
Install Noah 4.117
Connect Noah to Noah ES (cloud-based) for use with Suno
After setup, your previous system will no longer sync with Noah. Suno will use Noah ES going forward.
Understand your hosting type
Knowing how your Noah database is currently stored determines whether you need to export data before starting.
Self-hosted (local server or PC)
Your Noah database is stored on a local computer or server. You must export a backup before running setup.
How to export your Noah data
Navigate to Noah Administration.
Open Noah Console.
Navigate to Database Administration.
Select the Backup option under Service.
Click Backup to generate the backup file.
Click Open backup location to locate the file.
Drag and drop the backup file into the Suno shared drive.
Note: If you are unsure whether your system is self-hosted, confirm with Suno Support before proceeding.
Vendor-hosted (cloud or embedded)
Noah is managed by your previous system. No local export is needed. Completing setup will remove that connection — this is expected.

Still need help?
If you are unsure which guide applies to your clinic, or something looks different than expected during setup, stop and contact Suno Support with your clinic name and the step where you got stuck. Do not proceed if something looks wrong — completing the wrong steps may break your current system's connection to Noah.
