Use this guide if your clinic is currently on CounselEar and is migrating to Suno. This process disconnects CounselEar from Noah and reconnects Noah to Noah ES for use with Suno.

Review the <a href="https://help.suno.tech">Noah ES setup: start here</a> article before proceeding. Confirm you have noted your installed manufacturer modules and that your device meets the readiness requirements.

Important: Do not perform these steps until your scheduled cutover — the Friday before Go Live. Completing them early will break CounselEar's connection to Noah.

CounselEar can be locally hosted or cloud-hosted — your hosting type determines whether a data export is required (see below)

Complete this section only if your CounselEar setup is locally hosted. If you are unsure, confirm with Suno Support before proceeding.

Navigate to Database Administration.

Select the Backup option under Service.

Click Backup to generate the backup file.

Click Open backup location to locate the file.

Drag and drop the backup file into the Suno shared drive.

1. Navigate to Noah Administration.
2. Open Noah Console.
3. Navigate to Database Administration.
4. Select the Backup option under Service.
5. Click Backup to generate the backup file.
6. Click Open backup location to locate the file.
7. Drag and drop the backup file into the Suno shared drive.

Navigate to Control Panel &gt; Programs &gt; Uninstall a Program.

Locate and uninstall CounselEar Cloud Sync (or the similarly named sync application on your system).

Locate and uninstall each of the following:

- Noah 4
- Audiogram
- Noah 4 Journal
- Questionnaire

Clean up leftover Noah configuration files so the reinstall starts completely fresh. <a href="https://www.himsa.com/support/noah-4-knowledge-base/installation-guidelines/how-do-i-uninstall-noah-4-completely-but-save-the-himsa-member-company-module-installations/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Noah Support Reference Article</a>

Navigate to <code>C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\HIMSA Shared</code>. Rename the file <code>NOAHCfgDatabase.sdf</code> to <code>NOAHCfgDatabase.old</code>, then rename <code>NOAHDatabaseCoreSqlCompact.sdf</code> to <code>NOAHDatabaseCoreSqlCompact.old</code>. Delete everything else in this folder except those two renamed files, the <code>Noahlink</code> folder (if present), and <code>noah4.lf</code>.

Navigate to <code>C:\Program Files (x86)\HIMSA\Noah 4</code>. Delete all contents inside this folder except the <code>Backup</code> folder.

Navigate to <code>C:\ProgramData\HIMSA</code>. Rename the <code>HIMSA</code> folder to <code>HIMSAold</code>.

1. Navigate to <code>C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\HIMSA Shared</code>. Rename the file <code>NOAHCfgDatabase.sdf</code> to <code>NOAHCfgDatabase.old</code>, then rename <code>NOAHDatabaseCoreSqlCompact.sdf</code> to <code>NOAHDatabaseCoreSqlCompact.old</code>. Delete everything else in this folder except those two renamed files, the <code>Noahlink</code> folder (if present), and <code>noah4.lf</code>.
2. Navigate to <code>C:\Program Files (x86)\HIMSA\Noah 4</code>. Delete all contents inside this folder except the <code>Backup</code> folder.
3. Navigate to <code>C:\ProgramData\HIMSA</code>. Rename the <code>HIMSA</code> folder to <code>HIMSAold</code>.

Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen installation prompts to completion.

The Noah Configuration Wizard window opens after Noah installation completes.

Select option 4 for a Noah ES setup.

3. Then click Finish

When prompted for a server, select <code>Noah ES US</code>.

1. Open Noah after installation.
2. Enter your Noah ES credentials.
3. When prompted for a server, select <code>Noah ES US</code>.

Confirm your manufacturer modules are present. Reinstall any that are missing. Download links are available at <a href="https://www.himsa.com/noah-system/noah-modules/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">HIMSA – Noah modules</a>.
