This guide will walk you through the process of quickly adding a patient within the scheduling workflow. This method allows you to create a patient profile without leaving the scheduling flow, thus streamlining your workflow.
Adding a Patient
When creating an appointment, there are two methods to quickly add a patient:
Method 1: Quick Add Button
Locate the name search field.
Click the “Quick Add” button on the right side of the field.
Follow the prompts to create a new patient profile.
Method 2: Add as New Patient Option
Search for the patient's name in the search field.
Select the “Add as new patient” option.
Note: This option will appear even if a matching patient is found, as patients can share the same names.
Required Information
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
Ensure you have the following information:
First and Last Name
Date of Birth
Phone Number
Additional fields can be filled out, including the option to “Find/Create” a matching NOAH patient (set active by default), but if you're in a hurry, you can complete only the required fields and update the patient profile later.
Saving the Patient Profile
After filling in all required fields, click “Save.”
Proceed with creating the appointment.
