Welcome to the patient profile header overview. This guide will provide a step-by-step walkthrough of the patient profile header within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, designed to offer quick access to significant patient information.

Accessing the Patient Profile Header

Every time you access a patient's EMR, the profile header is prominently displayed at the top of the screen. This section is consistent across different EMR sections.

Key Components of the Patient Profile Header

  1. Profile Picture:

    • You can upload a profile picture from your device or take a picture using a connected webcam. This helps in quickly identifying patients, especially those with similar names.

  2. Patient Information:

    • Displays the date the patient was added to the system, the patient’s name, age, and date of birth.

    • A NOAH ES icon indicates the connection status of the patient's profile. Blue signifies a correct match, while red indicates a connection issue.

  3. Patient Tags:

    • Located beneath the date of birth, tags help organize additional patient details, such as managed care plans.

  4. Identifying Information:

    • Includes Suno ID, NOAH Patient ID, preferred provider, clinic, communication preferences, and referral source.

    • Option to pause Google Review messages.

  5. Balance Due:

    • Shows the current balance due, split into patient and insurer responsibility. Updates automatically with invoice changes.

  6. Notes and Tasks:

    • Notes section for anecdotal information, visible only within Suno.

    • Tasks section for creating and viewing patient-specific tasks.

  7. Contact Information:

    • Hover over icons to view phone numbers, emails, and addresses.

  8. Audiology Reports and Devices:

    • Review the latest audiology report and view hearing aid and accessory devices. Hover over ear icons for details.

    • Includes manufacturer warranty expiration dates.

  9. Appointments:

    • Displays the last and upcoming appointments, with options to update appointment status.

  10. Creating New Entries:

    • Options to create new appointments, invoices, and touchpoints.

    • The patient header can be collapsed for more workspace by clicking the chevron icon.
