This feature was built so that when cancelling an appointment, you can keep note of why this appointment was cancelled and what the outcome of the cancellation would be.
First, you’ll need to mark the appointment as
Cancelled(you can learn more about the different appointment status types and how to apply them here)You’ll then see the
Appointment Outcomenote where you can write down the reason for the cancellation (ex. “Patient wants a new time and will call back”)Now whenever you open up the details of the cancelled appointment, you’ll see the Outcome Notes section to review why the appointment was cancelled
