In Suno, there are six distinct appointment statuses, each serving a specific purpose in managing patient appointments. Understanding and utilizing these statuses effectively will ensure smooth operations and improve communication with patients.
Appointment Statuses:
Confirmed: An appointment is confirmed if:
The patient responds with “Yes” to the automated message asking for confirmation.
You manually confirm the appointment if the patient hasn’t responded to the automated message.
The appointment is scheduled to occur within 24 hours.
Unconfirmed: Appointments that have not met any of the confirmation criteria remain unconfirmed and are denoted by a question mark. They will remain in this status until confirmed.
Arrived: Use this status when a patient has arrived and is ready to start the appointment. Marking a patient as "Arrived" triggers a banner notification for the provider and automatically creates a chart note to be filled out.
NOTE: Once a patient is marked asArrived, this cannot be undone. Please be mindful of when you go to mark a patient as arrived that this is accurate.Cancelled: Apply this status when an appointment is cancelled without rescheduling. This status removes the appointment from the scheduler.
Rescheduled: An appointment receives this status when rescheduled. The original appointment time will be removed from the scheduler, though Suno keeps track of it under "Rescheduled" status for reporting purposes.
No-Show: If a patient does not show up and you cannot contact them, mark them as a "No-Show" after your selected amount of time has passed.
By leveraging these statuses effectively, you can ensure that your scheduling and patient communication processes are as efficient and effective as possible. For further assistance or more detailed reporting options, please refer to our additional resources or contact the help desk.
