Welcome to the step-by-step guide on how to mark a patient appointment as a No-Show in the case that the patient does not attend their scheduled appointment.

Mark the Appointment as a No-Show

If the patient does not appear, proceed with marking the appointment as a No-Show. You can do this in two ways:

  1. Using the Scheduling Module

    • Click into the specific appointment within the scheduling module.

    • Click the down-arrow located to the right of the "Patient Arrived" option.

    • Select "No-Show" from the dropdown menu.

  2. Using the Patient's Header

    • Locate the patient’s header towards the top-right of the screen.

    • Mark the appointment as "No-Show" using the available options.

No-Show Status Indicator

Once marked as a "No-Show," the appointment will display an updated icon of an eye with a slash within the scheduler. This icon serves as a quick reference to indicate a no-show.

Review No-Show Records

Suno maintains a detailed record of all appointments. To view the number of no-shows for a patient, access the "Appointments" section within their EMR.

Correct or Reschedule Appointments

If the patient arrives after being marked as a no-show, or if you wish to reschedule the appointment, you can:

  • Mark the patient as arrived and initiate the appointment via the scheduling module or the patient’s EMR.

  • This action will update the status from "No-Show" accordingly.
