Audiometer Configurations allow you to register and track the audiometers used at each of your clinic locations. Each configuration captures details like the audiometer type, calibration date, serial number, and assigned clinic.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged in as a Business Owner or Administrator.

Navigating to Audiometer Configurations

Important: Audiometer configurations are set up per clinic - you can switch between clinics by selecting the necessary clinic in the top-right of Suno.

  1. From the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen, click Settings.

    • You can also access Settings from the Account Menu in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. In the Settings sidebar, click Audiometer Configurations.

You will land on the Audiometer Configurations list page, which displays a table of all existing configurations with the following columns:

Column

Description

Title

An optional label for the configuration

Audiometer

The audiometer make/model

Calibration Date

The date the audiometer was last calibrated

Serial Number

The serial number of the device

Clinic

Tip: By default, only active configurations are shown. To view inactive configurations, click the Show Inactive Audiometer Configurations link above the table.

Adding a New Audiometer Configuration

  1. On the Audiometer Configurations list page, click the New Audiometer Configuration button in the top-right corner.

  2. Fill in the configuration form:

Field

Required

Description

Title

No

A descriptive label for this configuration (e.g., "Main Office Booth 1").

Audiometer

Yes

Select the audiometer from the dropdown. Options include registered audiometer models such as GSI-61, Interacoustics AC-40, and others.

Calibration Date

No

The date the audiometer was last calibrated. Enter in MM/DD/YYYY format or use the date picker.

Serial Number

No

The serial number of the audiometer device.

Clinic

Yes

The clinic location where this audiometer is used. This defaults to your currently selected clinic.

Active

No

A checkbox indicating whether this configuration is active. This is enabled by default.

  • Once the required fields are completed, the Save button will become enabled. Click Save to create the configuration.

After saving, you will be returned to the Audiometer Configurations list page and a confirmation message ("Audiometer Configuration added") will appear.

Important Notes

  • Audiometer and Clinic are the only required fields. All other fields are optional.

  • The Active checkbox is enabled by default. Uncheck it if you want to create a configuration in an inactive state.

  • The Clinic field automatically defaults to your currently selected clinic location, but you can change it to any clinic within your practice.

  • Each combination of Serial Number, Clinic, and Audiometer must be unique among active configurations. If a duplicate already exists, the system will return an error.

  • If you do not see the audiometer you need in the dropdown, contact your system administrator to have it added.

Editing an Existing Configuration

  1. Navigate to Settings > Audiometer Configurations.

  2. In the table, click the edit icon on the row of the configuration you want to modify.

  3. Update the desired fields and click Save.

A confirmation message ("Audiometer Configuration updated") will appear, and you will be returned to the list page.

Deactivating a Configuration

To deactivate an audiometer configuration without deleting it:

  1. Edit the configuration.

  2. Uncheck the Active checkbox.

  3. Click Save.

The configuration will no longer appear in the default active list. You can view it at any time by clicking Show Inactive Audiometer Configurations on the list page.
