Release Notes for May 22, 2026

  1. New Active Visit Drawer for Faster Patient Workflows — We’ve introduced the new Active Visit Drawer to help staff manage appointments more efficiently from one centralized view. When a patient is marked as arrived, the drawer gives quick access to appointment details, visit checklists, chart notes, invoices, appointment timers, and follow-up scheduling — all without needing to navigate between multiple screens. The drawer also supports custom workflow items and makes it easier to complete appointments before the patient leaves the office.

  2. New Compare Audiograms Feature — Clinics can now compare up to three audiograms side-by-side directly from the patient chart. The new Compare Audiograms view makes it easier to visualize hearing changes over time with layered audiogram comparisons, customizable left/right ear views, bone conduction toggles, and optional severity bands. Providers can also export comparisons as images or PDFs, helping support more interactive and educational patient conversations about hearing progression.

  3. Automatic Tympanogram Graph Generation — Tympanometry results can now automatically generate a visual tympanogram graph directly within the patient record and reports. This helps providers quickly review middle ear test results without needing to manually create or upload graphs, improving both clinical efficiency and report consistency.

  4. New Day Sheet Reporting Feature — Clinics can now generate a Day Sheet report for a streamlined daily overview of appointments, charges, payments, and office activity. The report is designed to help front office and billing teams quickly reconcile the day’s activity, monitor productivity, and simplify end-of-day balancing workflows.

  5. Chat Availability Status Indicators — Sendbird chat now includes user online availability indicators, allowing staff to quickly see when teammates are actively online or unavailable. This makes internal communication more efficient and helps clinics coordinate faster responses and collaboration throughout the workday.

  6. Audiology Report Visual Improvements — We’ve made several refinements to Audiology Reports for a cleaner and more professional presentation. Exported report images now use higher-quality PNG formatting instead of JPG, separator lines have been visually softened for improved readability, and provider titles are now displayed in report headers for better branding and documentation consistency.

  7. Improved Onboarding Forms Administration — Managing onboarding forms is now easier with new tabbed Active and Inactive filtering. Admins can quickly switch between active and archived forms while viewing count indicators for each category, helping keep onboarding workflows more organized and easier to maintain.

  1. Invoice QR Codes Make Patient Payments Easier — Patients can now quickly access and pay invoices through the Patient Portal using built-in QR codes, making billing more convenient, reducing friction, and helping practices get paid faster.

  2. More Flexible Insurance Billing Configuration — Clinics can now choose whether Box 33a sends the Group NPI or the individual Rendering Provider NPI based on the insurer’s billing requirements. This helps support payer-specific claim submission workflows and reduces manual adjustments.

  3. Clearer Timeout Error Messaging — When a request takes too long to process, users will now see a clear notification instead of an endless loading spinner, making it easier to understand when an action needs to be retried.

  4. New +30 and +60 Day Date Shortcuts for Hearing Aids — Added quick-select +30 day and +60 day options on the Hearing Aid detail page to help staff more efficiently calculate and update important dates.

  5. Improved Repair Order Organization — The Repair Orders section has been split into separate “Repairs In Progress” and “Repairs Completed” tabs, making it faster and easier for teams to track active repairs and completed work.

  6. Improved Chart Note Organization and Navigation — Notes are now separated into dedicated Visit Notes, General Notes, Billing Notes, and All Notes tabs for easier organization. Visit Notes specifically display Chart Notes tied to scheduled appointments, while General and Billing Notes are managed independently. When creating a new note, Suno will now automatically switch you to the appropriate tab - send us a message using the chat icon in the bottom left corner to try this feature

  7. More Detailed Adjustments Reporting — The Adjustments Report and Discarded Adjustments Report now include new Item, Product Type, and Product Subtype columns. Clinics can quickly identify which service or product an adjustment is associated with directly from the report — without opening the invoice. These new fields are also included in CSV exports, making it easier to analyze adjustments by category in Excel or other reporting tools.

  8. Enhanced Sales Report Filtering — The Sales Report now supports multi-select filtering for Payment Source and Managed Care Plan fields. This allows clinics to view and compare multiple payment sources or managed care programs at the same time for more flexible reporting.

  9. Clearer Financing Payment Method Labels — Financing-related payment methods have been renamed throughout the system for improved clarity and consistency. For example, CareCredit now appears as “Financing - CareCredit,” making financing transactions easier to identify at a glance.
