This article explains how to send bulk emails to patients from the Patients report and how to use filters to target specific patient groups.

Note: While the Patients report is the most common method for this, other Reports within Suno will also have this functionality.

Accessing the Patients report

  • Navigate to the Reports section in your Suno account.

  • The Patients report opens by default, displaying the list of patients that meet the current report criteria.

Starting a bulk email

  • In the Patients report, locate the Bulk Actions button on the right side of the page.

  • From the dropdown, select Send Emails.

  • A number will appear next to Send Emails, indicating how many patients currently match your filters and have email addresses. This is the number of emails that will be sent.

Narrowing recipients with filters

To target specific groups of patients:

  • Use the filters at the top left of the Patients report.

  • Apply the desired filters (for example, select a Preferred Provider).

  • After applying a filter, the bulk email count updates automatically to reflect only the patients with email addresses who match the selected criteria.

Composing the email

Once you have narrowed your recipient list:

  • Enter the email Subject and Message using the standard word processor used throughout Suno.

    • Optionally, insert and use existing templates to speed up email composition.

  • Add any notes as needed for internal reference.

  • Use the Preview option (if available) to review the email content and formatting before sending.

Sending the bulk email

  • Confirm that your filters, subject line, and message content are correct.

  • Click Send to deliver the email to all patients included in the current filtered selection.
