Use the Manage Work Shifts option in the Scheduling module to control when you are available for appointments. This lets you add, edit, and remove work timeframes from your calendar as needed.

Viewing work shifts

  • Open the Scheduling module.

  • In the top-right corner of the calendar, toggle on Manage Work Shifts.

  • Your current work shifts for the week display on the calendar in gray.

Adding a work shift

  • With Manage Work Shifts toggled on, click the starting time block where you want to add the shift (just as you would when scheduling an appointment).

  • In the Schedule Work Shift modal, confirm that Work Shift is selected along the top.

  • Enter a title for the shift (for example, “Saturday 9–12”).

  • Select the clinic and set the start and end time.

  • (Optional) Enable Recurring and set an end date if needed.

  • (Optional) Enter any notes you want to save with the work shift.

  • Click Save. The work shift timeframe appears on the calendar in gray.

Returning to appointment scheduling

  • Toggle off Manage Work Shifts.

  • The calendar returns to standard scheduling mode, and you can add appointments and events in those timeframes.

Editing a work shift

  • Toggle on Manage Work Shifts.

  • Click the work shift you want to update.

  • Click the pencil icon.

  • Adjust the title, clinic, timeframe, recurrence, or notes as needed.

  • Click Save to apply your changes.

Deleting a work shift

  • Toggle on Manage Work Shifts.

  • Click the work shift you want to remove.

  • Click the trash can icon to delete the work shift from the calendar.

In this documentation, we've covered how you can manage your work shifts depending on your needs. As always, feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.
