In this documentation, weโ€™ll walk you through the process of how to merge duplicate patient profiles.

  1. In the Patients module, you can search for the duplicate profiles in the side-search bar, click the checkboxes to the left of each profile that needs to be merged, and then select the Merge Patients button (NOTE: Only two profiles can be selected and merged at a time).
    โ€‹

  2. You will then be brought into the Preview Merge pop-up window where you will see a Source Patient and Destination Patient column.

    1. Source Patient: Profile that will be merged into the Destination Patient and deactivated

    2. Destination Patient: Profile that will remain and receive merged information from the Source Patient

โ€‹NOTE: Please be mindful that the Patient Demographics of the Source Patient will not be migrated. Please be sure to select the correct demographic information that you would like to retain as the Destination Patient. If you need to switch the positions, then you can select the button with the two arrows in between the two columns.
      โ€‹

  3. Once you have confirmed your selections, you can select the Merge button to complete the process.
