Service bundles are a powerful tool for managing and invoicing the services you typically provide. By creating bundles, you can add multiple services to an invoice all at once, eliminating the need to search for each line item individually. Additionally, you can set discounts to be applied automatically. Follow these steps to create and apply service bundles.

Step 1: Ensure Line Items are in Your Inventory Catalog

Before you create a service bundle, make sure that all necessary line items are added to your inventory catalog. If the line items are not in the catalog, they will not be available for selection when creating the bundle.

Step 2: Create a New Bundle

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Bundles.

  2. Select the New Bundle button located at the top-right of the page.

  3. Assign a name to the bundle (e.g., "Test Bundle"). You may also include a description, though it is not essential.

Step 3: Add Line Items to the Bundle

  1. Use the Search & Add Product field to search for and add the necessary line items, similar to the process used when creating an invoice.

  2. Once added, you will see details such as the type, unit price, and options to add discounts or update the quantity for each line item. You can remove a line item from the bundle by selecting the "trash" icon.

Step 4: Set Discounts for Line Items

  1. One advantage of creating a bundle is the ability to add default discounts to each line item. These discounts will automatically apply when the bundle is added to an invoice.

  2. Click the + icon next to a line item to set a discount.

  3. Select the Discount Type and set the discount amount. Note that the maximum discount amount is determined when the Discount Type is created under Settings > Discount Types.

Step 5: Finalize and Create the Bundle

  • Once all necessary line items and discounts are added, select the Create Bundle option located at the bottom-right of the page.

Step 6: Add a Bundle to an Invoice

  1. Open the invoice you wish to edit.

  2. In the invoice editor, select the Add Bundle option.

  3. Choose the bundle you would like to add.

  4. The line items and their associated discounts will automatically apply to the invoice, ready for you to save.

By following these steps, you can efficiently create and apply service bundles for quick and easy invoicing. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out for assistance.
