In this documentation, we’ll walk you through the process of exchanging hearing aids when a patient has decided that they would prefer a different model to their current aids.
Under the
Hearing Aidssection for the patient, select theExchange Hearing Aidsbutton.
Next, you will select the aids that need to be exchanged by clicking the checkboxes to the left of each aid.
Select the Exchange date and returning clinic; you also have the option to select
Return to manufacturerif the original aids are going to be sent back.
Select
SubmitThis will now bring you into the familiar workflow to select the new hearing aids that the patient is going to be using; you do have the option to select from your current clinic stock as well.
NOTE: The previously exchanged hearing aids will still be visible in the View Hearing Aids History section, and it will show their Exchange Date.
